Instructions:
  1. Read: Aschengrau and Seage, ch. 16 - Screening in Public Health Practice

  2. Read the lecture slides and speaker notes or listen to the recorded lecture (links are in Blackboard).

  3. Read Gabriel M. Leung, Tai-Hing Lam, Thuan Q. Thach, Anthony J. Hedley. “Will Screening Mammography in the East Do More Harm than Good?” American Journal of Public Health 2002(Nov);92(11):1841-1846 (abstract, full text)

  4. Answer (all of) the case study questions. Write succinct answers that include a brief explanation or statement of support.

  5. (Optional, but earns credit) Submit the answers to the starred case study questions (numbers 1, 2, 5, 9, and 12 - see the class schedule for due date).

  6. Discuss the answers to (all of) the case study questions with your small group.

  7. Agree on the answers (including the brief explanation or statement of support), so the facilitator can submit the group’s consensus answers (for all questions) by the date indicated in the class schedule.
